Comic-Con

This post is long over due!  And it will be mainly pictures from September 2015 as our family was blessed to be able to attend the SLC Comic-Con. It was amazing!! As you will see from all the fun pictures it was something that I will never forget!
Leslie's goal was to have her pic taken with a Harley Quinn.

Kylie's favorite character is Hawk Girl.

K This guy is SO COOL!! He's the lead singer from Kerby Krackle. They play nerd rock...and its awesome. He knew Ken by name from his Twitter handle...just cool. Check out their music...and he loved Sam...cuz ...well....who doesn't?

I'm a big WW fan...of course Sam just had to get in the action.


We rode in the train one day instead of driving...it was fun!

For a minute...I thought that this guy was Hugh Jackman...but it wasn't but Sam was blown away! He loves Wolverine.

To those of you who don't know THIS GUY is Manu Bennett. He plays Deathstroke in Arrow. HE was so awesome to talk to and while we were posing for this picture...I hit me in the forehead with his arm while trying to put his arm around me to reach Leslie..

Ok so we payed for one set of pictures and a autograph...Sam told him how good of a job he did playing Deathstroke and such. He ended up giving Sam his own autographed picture and photo taken with him..Manu also arm wrestled with Sam it was cute. He was really good to our little man.

This GUY!!! He is more known from WWE( when it was WWF) as Ron Simmons...he was the FIRST African-Amercain to hold the WCW Heavyweight Title. He talked to us for about 25min. He is awesome. One of his most famous catch phrases was "DAMN." He'd always say it when it was funny. He was also with JBL and together they were known as the APA.
See I know stuff. ;-)

We also were able to get John Barrowman's autographed picture. We talked to him and he was super nice! He had a conversation with Ken about R'as al Ghul's ring he had sitting next to him as well as a couple of others......AND he loved Sam(shocker...I know) and his red hair.
Most of this is just from the first day we were there. This was a 3 day event...and it was AMAZING!! I hope that we are able to do this again..because it is something that everyone should experience!

Thanksgiving NIGHTMARE!!!

Sooo I was way to excited for Thanksgiving!! Do you wanna know why?? I wasn't excited for a cheat meal...although I think I cheated more with the pies than the actual meal. The night before Thanksgiving our Elders' Quorum President had "Pie Night" at his house and so you go to his house and you can bring a pie to share OR not...and just pig out on pie. I think my youngest child, Sam had the most pie.. I think he ate 4 slices of pie..most of it pumpkin pie. Leslie had 3 and Kylie, Ken and myself had 1 and a half. How to tips....

How do you do it?? I just love this saying...it really hits the nail on the head. I am by far an expert...but I just do what works for me and I was tired of being un-happy with me. As of lately, I get asked this question A LOT!!! Must be cuz I'm smokin' HOT!! No...I think its because I train hard and I have gotten really good results! And yeah...it helps to have a really good work out program...something that you love to do. A program that when certain music comes on you can't help but bust out and do some of those moves from that routine.(Those of you who know me...also know I do this frequently and sometimes...ok most of the time I do it just to embarrass Kylie...because its fun!) For me that program is TurboFire. It takes 21 days of you doing something to make it a habit...so after that 1st time of trying this program, I thought, "Uh-oh...I'm hooked!" My "rest days" just kill me...I have a love/hate relationship with those days...its so good f...

Nutritional tips...okay maybe NOT but its just things that I do

 Request after request came in and so yes.....I will write a nutritional guide..if you wanna even call it that. So..............(<<<<those dots were pointed out to me in my last blog by the hubbs..so these dots are for you!) Did you know that no matter how HARD you train...no matter how long you spend with Shawn T, or any other trainer that you love....its only 20%.   yep, ya'll heard me ONLY 20%!!!!!!!!!! I know my jaw hit the floor too when I was told this number! Surely there must be some kind of mistake! Well after hours of banging my head against a wall(okay so I was down on the floor throwing a temper tantrum like a 3 year old, kicking and flailing my arms...)
